Taking Attendance
iClicker
iClicker is a student engagement system that uses active learning techniques to increase classroom engagement. It provides low-stakes, low-stress interaction between students and the content, providing instructors with in-the-moment learning data.
Using iClicker to take Attendance
You can either use iClicker for Attendance Only, which can be run from the iClicker website, or for Full Course which allows you to take attendance, as well as run polls and quizzes. Full Course requires you to download the iClicker Cloud desktop software.
The geolocation option can be used if you want students to physically attend class. iClicker allows various options for automating attendance, alerting you to students who have missed a minimum number of classes, and forcing students to physically attend class using the geolocation option.
